Bactoscrub

Bactoscrub is a medicated hand & body wash, it has bactericidal and fungicidal properties. The active agent Chlorhexidine Gluconate 4% w/v, has a wide range of antimicrobial activity making it highly effective against gram positive and gram negative bacteria, fungi, etc. A 30 second hand wash kills 80% of bacteria. The agent remains active even under gloves. It is used for hygienic disinfection of hands. Leaves behind a soft fragrance.

To disinfect below the neck level before surgery, use this CHG-based body wash twice daily, in the morning and at night. Use 2-5ml per body bath, apply directly to the body without dilution, and leave on for one minute before washing gently. Do not scrub too hard or use regular soap afterwards. Pat yourself dry with a clean towel, and avoid using lotions, creams, or powders. Finally, dress in clean clothes following the antiseptic shower.
